To the crawling ones, the winged ones, the finned ones, to the plants and trees and rivers, to the deserts and mountains and stars and all our relatives. To the dreaming of our ancestors. To healing that which appears broken and fragmented. To wonder and enchantment. To the pool of stories and myths that rehydrate our relationship with the world and the imaginal. To the unseen and the benevolent forces that are always conspiring for our liberation. To all the traditional custodians of the land that keep the wisdom of the earth alive. To a life that is hand-made. To our songs and dances and prayers uttered to the wind. To eros and intimacy. To a world where all beings walk freely. To reverence. To the mother of us all, that speaks to us in ancient tongues inscribed in our bones. To the mystery and the unseen. To you, dear one, and the tender ferocity of your courageous heart.
My name is Emilia, and I am very grateful to be crossing paths with you here in this virtual realm.

Among the multifaceted aspects of my being, I am a woman, a lover, an alchemist, a threshold keeper, a space holder, a ceremonialist, a somatic teacher & therapist, a devotee of the healing arts, a birth & death doula, an herbalist, and a culture maker and shaker.

I am also a strange modern mystic who has been gathering threads from many paths and ways, trying to bring together some sort of puzzle of how to be alive in these modern times; I am also an artist, a poet, writer, dancer. a pilgrim and adventurer of life. I am profoundly interested in the process of remembrance as well as of carving new pathways of being that perhaps were never lived before. As such a consider myself, first and foremost, a midwife of authenticity and, hence, as a midwife a threshold keeper, one who sits between worlds.
I have a background in dance, somatic & embodiment practices, I am also a trained depth psychologist with a concentration in expressive arts & dreamwork. I have studied a wide range of bodywork therapies and energetic healing modalities, and I am a certified birth & death doula.
Beyond my titles, however, what truly matters to me is the countless hours I have spent sitting besides fires with elders from around the world, the many dark nights of the soul I have traversed, the times spent in aloneness, with the land, communing with the invisible, tending relationship to the sacred, awakening what is most alive and free within ourselves, creating spaces for liberation, for alchemy, for transformation.
I love to weave worlds and people, to offer spaces for personal and collective healing, I am not interested in becoming immaculate, perfect beings but in awakening to our own divinity through our humanity, through intimacy and direct experience of all the multifaceted nature of reality, through the rhythms of our becoming and our incredible mythopoetic journeys,
I love to sit at the threshold with people, whether this is the threshold of birth as a doula, or the threshold of a new leap in our own identities and consciousness. In this space in between, this alchemical, and metamorphic space we can rewrite our own story and choose different pathways of beings.
